Who have you told about your dream?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 29, 2008:
Although I have shared portions of my dream(s) with a selected few ... My dreams are mine. Thus as dreams are inside one's head, my dreams are only accurately viewed from within. And that is comforting and inspiring for me.
Over the years I realize my dreams came true because — even when I didn't realize it — I was able to move beyond the immediate.
Even when moving was via tiny baby steps. Even when all I could do was stand (or assume the fetal position).
The immediate is what is near. The dream is further away in the distance ... Yet, it is visible.
Keep your focus.

“Even when all I could do was stand (or assume the fetal position).” Bless you Lucente! As has often been the case with your blog, this is exactly what I needed to see today. Like a mosaic, “the Big Picture” is made up of tiny pieces placed with care into the right place. In my impatience to complete the picture, I lose sight of the importance of those “tiny baby steps.” In fact, I think I “assume the fetal position” when my “all-or-nothing” thinking kicks in and I become dissatisfied with my perceived lack of progress. I am going to carry these thoughts around with me today, like a flashlight on a dark night. Thanks so much. Love, Otter
I love the image of The Big Picture being tiny pieces placed with care … It reminds me of your paintings, dear friend. Each stroke put into place to create an original! :-)
